I found by chance if you wrap a rag tightly around the transducer, the rag will dampen the compressor harmonics enough the allow the transducer to read correctly. A new known transducer will read good for a while then start to fail bu reading erratic pressures from actual pressures to 4 to 50 psi. Also, checked 5V DC voltage input to sensor and signal out put while in operation with a known good transducer with system running. Removing the sensor from the circuit and plug in with no pressure on it it will read 399 Psi.Ĭhecked wiring harness by isolating bot end and ohm test. If you lightly tap on the sensor it will read erratic until it goes to full failure. The sensor will fail to 399 PSI and lock out the compressor in the micro panel, as it should. The number 1 circuit compressor seems to be causing a harmonic vibration that is damaging this transducer within a 1 day period. The problem is with the discharge pressure transducer Part Number 025-29139-001 or Danfoss AKS32R 060G2154 0-400 PSIS 5VDC signal. ( I better knock on wood!)
